Manual starters are devices operated manually, designed for simple operation without requiring expert intervention. The starter includes a button or rotary knob that enables users to turn connected equipment on or off.
When the engine is activated (via stop/start button or traditional key), an electrical signal is sent to the starter solenoid. This component transmits power from the vehicle's battery to the starter motor.
The electrical current activates both the starter motor and the starter drive (Bendix gear system), which then engages the vehicle's flywheel. As the starter motor turns, it cranks the engine to initiate the combustion process.
Once the engine is running, the mechanism disconnects the starter motor from the gear and flywheel as the engine no longer requires the electrical spark to maintain operation.
