Manual starters are devices that are operated manually. These starters are extremely easy and straightforward to operate and do not require expert intervention. The starter includes a button (or rotary knob) which enables a user to turn the connected equipment on or off.
Key advantages of manual starters:
When the engine is started (via stop/start button or traditional key), an electrical signal is sent to the starter solenoid. This component sends power from the vehicle's battery to the starter motor.
The electrical current activates the starter motor and engages the starter drive (Bendix gear system) with the vehicle's flywheel. As the starter motor turns, it cranks the engine to initiate the combustion process.
Once the engine is running, the mechanism disengages the starter motor from the flywheel as the engine no longer requires the electrical spark to maintain operation.
