Manual starters are simple, manually-operated devices designed for easy operation without requiring expert intervention. They feature a button or rotary knob that mechanically opens or closes contacts to start or stop connected equipment.

Starter Motor Operation
When the engine is activated (via stop/start button or traditional key), an electrical signal is sent to the starter solenoid. This component transfers power from the battery to the starter motor, engaging the starter drive (Bendix gear system) with the vehicle's flywheel.
The starter motor cranks the engine to initiate combustion in petrol and diesel vehicles. Once the engine is running, the mechanism disengages the starter motor from the flywheel as external electrical assistance is no longer required.
