Manual Starters Overview
Manual starters are devices operated manually, featuring simple operation without requiring expert intervention. These starters include a button or rotary knob that allows users to turn connected equipment on or off through mechanical linkages that open or close contacts.
Important Note: Manual starters do not break control circuits during power loss, which means motors may restart automatically when power returns. This requires careful consideration for safety-critical applications.

Starter Motor Operation
When the engine is activated (via stop/start button or traditional key), an electrical signal is sent to the starter solenoid. This component transfers charge from the vehicle's battery to the starter motor, activating it along with the starter drive (Bendix gear system).
The starter motor turns, cranking the engine to initiate combustion in petrol and diesel vehicles. Once the engine runs independently, the mechanism disengages the starter motor from the flywheel.
