Manual Starters Overview
Manual starters are devices operated manually, featuring simple operation without requiring expert intervention. These starters include a button or rotary knob that enables users to turn connected equipment on or off through mechanical linkages that open or close contacts.
Important Note: Manual starters do not break control circuits during power loss, which means motors could restart automatically when voltage is restored - a critical safety consideration in some applications.

Starter Motor Operation
When the engine is activated (via stop/start button or traditional key), an electrical signal is sent to the starter solenoid. This component transmits power from the vehicle's battery to the starter motor, activating both the motor and the starter drive (Bendix gear system).
The electrical charge engages the vehicle's flywheel, cranking the engine to initiate combustion in petrol and diesel vehicles. Once the engine operates independently, the mechanism disengages the starter motor from the gear and flywheel.
