Manual Starters Overview
Manual starters are simple, user-operated devices designed for straightforward motor control. Starter Motor Operation
When the engine is activated (via start button or ignition key), an electrical signal is sent to the starter solenoid. This component transfers power from the battery to the starter motor, which then engages the vehicle's flywheel through a gear system (starter drive/Bendix). The motor cranks the engine to initiate combustion in both petrol and diesel vehicles. Once the engine is running independently, the starter motor disengages automatically.
