Manual starters are devices operated manually for simple motor control. These starters feature straightforward operation without requiring expert intervention. The starter includes a button or rotary knob that enables users to turn connected equipment on or off through mechanical linkages that open or close contacts.

Starter Motor Operation
When the engine is activated (via stop/start button or ignition key), an electrical signal is sent to the starter solenoid. This component transfers power from the battery to the starter motor, activating it along with the starter drive (Bendix gear system). The mechanism engages the vehicle's flywheel, cranking the engine to initiate combustion. Once the engine runs independently, the starter motor disengages automatically.
