Starter Motor Operation
When the engine is activated (via stop/start button or traditional key), an electrical signal is sent to the starter solenoid. This component transfers power from the battery to the starter motor, activating it along with the starter drive (Bendix gear system). The engaged starter motor turns the engine's flywheel to initiate the combustion process in petrol and diesel engines. Once the engine is running, the starter motor disengages automatically.
