Starter Motor Operation

When the engine is activated (via button or key), an electrical signal triggers the starter solenoid, which channels power from the battery to the starter motor. This activates the starter drive mechanism (Bendix gear), engaging the engine's flywheel to initiate combustion in petrol and diesel engines.

Once the engine is running independently, the starter motor automatically disengages from the flywheel, as the combustion process becomes self-sustaining.
